Why some of the chemicals used in industrial processes are dangerous

NEW YORK (AP) Some of the dangerous chemicals used to make industrial chemicals in America are made in Mexico, according to a new report.

The Environmental Working Group said in a report Thursday that Mexico is responsible for more than half of all industrial chemicals used worldwide.

The chemicals are often manufactured with high levels of arsenic, lead, cadmium and other heavy metals.

They also contain the neurotoxic metal mercury, which can cause mental and physical problems.

The report, based on data from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, said Mexico is the second-largest exporter of heavy metals, after the United Kingdom.

It said the chemicals also contribute to global warming.

Mexico has said it plans to boost production of heavy-metal-free chemicals to avoid the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

But some companies say they don’t know if that will be possible because the government does not require that they report chemicals made there to the EPA.

In addition to the arsenic and lead, the report said Mexico has some of China’s most dangerous heavy metals like mercury and cadmias, but said it is unclear whether those chemicals will make it into the U
